Wilson Lewis

LEWIS, Wilson Elijah, 93, of Chesterfield, formerly of Castlewood Road, departed this life December 3, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Staton Jones Lewis. He is survived by three sisters, Deacon Rosa L. Caldwell, Ruby L. Gibson and Grace L. Johnson; a devoted niece, Audrey Gibson; three stepchildren and grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family extends a special appreciation to the caregivers at Westport and Chippendale Retirement Center. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St., where funeral service will be held Monday, December 7, at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Ronald C. Taylor, officiating. Interment Maury Cemetery.
