I am very sorry for your loss. I have written the following reflection as a tribute to Walter Carlin Barrett and those whose lives were touched by his. I was very inspired attending this man of faith's funeral. So much was said by the family and friends present. My reflection on the funeral and this man's legacy are posted on my Prints of Grace blog at the following link http://printsofgrace.blogspot.com/2013/08/passing-along-faith-legacy-of-walter.html

Dear Monsignor Walter & Family, Sending my heartfelt condolences to you ALL, praying for God's peace and comfort to surround you at this time. I remember so well & THANK YOU, for how beautiful you officiated at our Dad's (Thomas Gray), Homegoing Service in Dec. 2001; you spoke of how WONDERFULLY BLESSED he was, living until 91..now I will say the same to you, your Dad was a fine person and so WONDERFULLY blessed to be here 93 years & look as well as he did. Life for you all, especially your mom, will be so different, but being a loving and faith-filled family as you all are, I know you will bask in God's love and His peace. R.I.P. Mr.Barrett, Sr.,
Sincerely,
Veronica (GRAY) Archer,
