Nichole Leigh Knoblauch, 36, of Sardinia, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born Dec. 9, 1977 in Hillsboro, the daughter of Joseph Lee and Sandra L. Beath Meyers.
Nichole was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, and sister who loved and adored her family.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel K. Knoblauch, whom she married Aug. 8, 1998 in Mowrystown; daughters, Morgan Dawn and Macy Jo Knoblauch; mother, Sandy Meyers; sister, Trisha Meyers and her husband Dirk Beckett of Wilmington; nieces, Kody Knoblauch, Courtney Shannon and Addison Nichole Beckett; nephew, Joseph Duke Beckett; mother-in-law, Nancy Knoblauch of Hillsboro; sister-in-law, Julie Zaph of Hillsboro; brothers-in-law, Kirk (Julie) Knoblauch of Wilmington, Kent (Michelle) Knoblauch of Hillsboro and Gary Shannon of Sugar Tree Ridge; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Lee Meyers; maternal grandparents, Verlin and June Beath; paternal grandparents, Harold and Helen Meyers; and father-in-law, Daniel E. Knoblauch.
A celebration of Nichole's life will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 5 at the Whiteoak High School gymnasium. Kraig Walker will lead the celebration.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours starting at 4 p.m. in the gymnasium. Following services, the family will continue to receive friends.
The Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro, is serving the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are directed to a trust fund for Nichole's daughters. Donations can be made at any National Bank and Trust location.
