Carpani, Helen* - Norristown  
Helen Carpani of Norristown Helen (Lewandowski) Carpani passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014 she was 91. Mrs. Carpani of Norristown was a member of the Holy Saviour Church. Helen was employed at the former extracorporeal and Minters Candy and also assisted with her son's flower business Plantasia. She enjoyed baking and cake decorating. Helen was born on May 21, 1923 and was the daughter of the late Peter and Rose (Grala) Lewandowski. She was the wife of the late John Carpani Jr. She is survived by her two sons John and David Carpani. Two sisters Stella Dolewa and Wanda Dragon. Four grandchildren Johnny, Joseph, Jennifer and Angel two great grandchildren Gianna and Anthony. Predeceased by two brothers Adam and Stanley and a sister Laura Dragon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Tuesday, December 23 at 10 AM in Holy Saviour church. Burial St. Patrick's Cemetery. Collins, Serafina T.* - King Of Prussia  
Serafina Collins of King of Prussia Serafina T. "Fanny" (Damiani) Collins passed away peacefully on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Mercy Suburban Hospital in E. Norriton, PA. She was 91. Mrs. Collins was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She graduated from the former Bridgeport High School, Class of 1941. Fanny worked for the former A & P, Chatlins Department Store, Reading Railroad and as a receptionist for Dr. Gerald LeGendre. She was a member of the former St. Augustine R.C. Church in Bridgeport, PA. Born in Bridgeport, PA on January 4, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Assunta "Susan" (Marcheggiano) Damiani. She was the wife of the late Francis V. "Fritz" Collins, who died in July of 2014. Surviving is her loving family including two sons, Stephen & Debbie Collins of King of Prussia, PA and William & Judy Collins of Cuenca, Ecuador; a daughter, Francine & James Spence of Whitemarsh, PA; three grandchildren: Clint Collins, Devon Collins and Brooke Spence; a brother, Thomas & Lucy Damiani of King of Prussia, PA; two sisters, Gina & Mike Guidas of Bridgeport, PA and Theresa & Charles Figaniak of Philadelphia, PA; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Nicholas, Joseph and Louis; and two sisters, Mary Vuotto and Louise Matozza. Fanny's Prayer Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 11:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 10 to 10:50 am, at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA. Costa, Gerald B. "Gerry"* - Plymouth Meeting  
Gerald B. Costa 'Gerry' of Plymouth Meeting Gerald B. Costa, "Gerry", 82, of Plymouth Meeting, a retired Automotive Technician, died on Wednesday, December 24, 2014. He was born in Norristown on June 10, 1932 son of the late Gregorio and Calogera (Trecroce) Costa. Gerry was the beloved husband of Shirley E. (Vagnoni) Costa for 58 years. Gerry was born and raised in the Black Horse section of Norristown. In his youth, he worked at the family farm, which was on Belvoir Rd., in Plymouth. Following in the mechanical skills of his family, he became a highly skilled Automotive Technician working at E.F. Moore for 15 years, Pioneer for 8 years, Penske for 7 years and Keystone Mack for 5 years. He served his country honorably in the Army National Guard 28th Division III Infantry. He was an avid hobbyist, who enjoyed woodworking and all things to do with mechanics and machinery. Gerry also enjoyed string art and gardening. In addition to his wife, he is survived by: 2 sons, Gerald S. (Jeri) of Plymouth Meeting and Thomas (Mary) of Bala Cynwyd; a daughter, Loretta A. (Derek) White of North Coventry; a sister, Frances Wilson of King of Prussia; 5 grandchildren, Linda Costa, Ashley Costa, Lena Woods, Jason Costa and Bridgit White; 2 great-grandchildren, Lily and Ava Woods; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 5 brothers. Relatives and friends may pay respects on Tuesday morning, December 30, 2014 from 9-10:30am at the William A. Moore Funeral Home, 708 Fayette St., Conshohocken. A funeral service will commence in the funeral home at 10:30am. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gerry's memory may be made to the American Heart Assoc at www.heart.org or 1-800-242-8721.
