Joseph A. Eitl of East Norriton Joseph A. Eitl, 77, of East Norriton, PA passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at his home in East Norriton with his loving family by his side. Born in Philadelphia, PA on January 27, 1938, Joseph has lived in East Norriton, Pa for the last 22 years, formerly of Graterford, Pa & King of Prussia, Pa. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He worked with Stroehmann Bakery as a Driver Salesman for 33 years, retiring in 2000 He had formerly worked with Philadelphia Gear. Joseph was a member of Perkiomen Twp. Fire Company. He was a talented musician and had played the organ at King of Prussia Plaza for many years outside the Whirlitizer Store as well as played with many assorted bands over the years. Survivors include his Wife: Cynthia (Woodbury) Eitl of East Norriton, PA, Son: Michael (& Evelyn) Eitl of Oaks, PA, Daughter: Cheri (& Richard) Pearson of Fenwick Island, DE, Son: Craig (& Peg) Eitl of Skippack, PA, Son: Kevin Eitl of Royersford, PA, Daughter: Kathy Hackman of Phoenixville, PA, Daughter: Lynn (& Kevin) Heffernan of East Fallowfield, PA, Step Daughter: Alexa (& Robert) Ingram of Ewing, NJ, Step Son: Derek (& Mindy) Thomas of East Norriton, PA; Also Survived By 13 Grandchildren, & 2 Great Grandchildren. Along with his parents, Michael P. Eitl and Ann (McCarthy), he was preceded in death by two grandsons. His Memorial Service will be held on Friday April 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, Pa 19401. Clergy: The Rev. Douglas Hagler officiating. Pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Phoenixville, Pa. Friends may call on Friday Morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
