Irwin, William J.* - Conshohocken  
William Irwin of Conshohocken William J. Irwin, "Huck", age 95 of Conshohocken, died on Monday, December 22, 2014. He was born in Philadelphia on October 25, 1919 son of the late William P. and Sarah (Cunnane) Irwin. He was the beloved husband of Amelia H. (Barbato) Irwin for 66 years. Huck was raised on East 10th Avenue in Conshohocken. He graduated from St. Matthew High School Class of 1940, where he played basketball and baseball. He was a decorated United States Army WWII combat veteran, who saw considerable action in the infamous Battle of the Bulge. He was employed by John Wood Tank Co. for 15 years and also Young Window Corporation for 25 years. Huck was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce. He enjoyed sports, crossword puzzles and big band music. Most of all he loved his family. He is survived by: a son, William (Diane) of Harleysville; a daughter, Patricia (Richard) Rowland of Harleysville; 4 grandchildren, Carly Keeny, Christopher Irwin, Ashley Rowland, and Elizabeth Rowland; a great-granddaughter, Sophie Keeny; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 4 sisters, Mary Burke, Rita Barry, Nancy Irwin and Ruth McCormick; 3 brothers, Joseph, John and Ted. Relatives and friends may pay respects on Friday morning, December 26th, from 9-10:20am at St. Matthew RC Church, 3rd Ave. & Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA 19428. A funeral mass will commence in the church at 10:30am. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in William's memory may be made to St. Matthew RC Church at the aforementioned address. Professional arrangements are by the William A. Moore Funeral Home, 708 Fayette St., Conshohocken.

Johnson, Marjorie M.* - Ambler  
Marjorie M. Johnson of Ambler Marjorie M. Johnson (McClure), age 81 of Ambler, died Tuesday December 16th at Abington Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb. 20, 1933 in Norristown, daughter of the late Mack and Georgia McClure (Friday). She was a graduate of the former A.D. Eisenhower High School in Norristown. She also attended the Beaumont School of Practical Nursing in Phila. For 19 years she worked for Spring House Estates as a C.N.A. Her memberships included Siloam Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Ministry, Order of the Eastern Star #85 of Norristown where she served as past matron, and the MontCo Lions Club where she served as past president. She was the wife of the late Stewart O. Johnson, Sr. Surviving are 2 daughters, Patti Stroman (Kevin) and Sheila Johnson, 2 sons, Stewart O. Johnson, Jr. (Beth) and Stephen Johnson, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, a sister, Gloria Johnson (William), and a brother, John McClure (Maureen). She was predeceased by a daughter, Rita, brothers Melvin, Mack and Rudy, and sisters, Georgia and Delores.Funeral services are going to be held Tuesday, December 23 at 11 AM at Siloam Baptist Church 1329 Willow Street, Norristown. Koellner, Elfriede* - Worcester  
Elfriede Koellner of Worcester Elfriede (Mayer) Koellner, 82, a Worcester resident for the last 43 years, passed away December 20, 2014 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in East Norriton. She was the wife of the late Manfred O. Koellner, MD, who passed away in 1977. Born January 29, 1932 in Vienna Austria, she was a daughter of the late Franz and Maria (Huemer) Mayer. Mrs. Koellner was employed in the Food Services Department of Methacton School District for 20 years beginning in 1978. She was a member of Wentz's United Church of Christ and enjoyed cooking, baking, entertaining and gardening. Mrs. Koellner was past worthy matron 1975-1976, Radiant Chapter No. 96, Order of the Eastern Star; past royal matron of Lansdale Court No. 65, Order of the Amaranth; and past worthy high priestess of Temple Shrine No. 22, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. She was also a Cedarette. Surviving is a daughter, Patricia C. Koellner of Worcester; a son, Robert F. Koellner and his wife, Christine, of Worcester; two nieces, Monika Marchich and her husband, Mario, of Vienna, Austria, and Margit Stroble of St. Martin, Austria; and many great nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Rudolf Jellek, Willi Mayer, and Anne Marie Obleser. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11AM on Saturday, December 27, at the R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 3440 Skippack Pike @ Cedars Rd., Skippack, where friends may call for the viewing from 9:30-10:45AM. The Order of the Eastern Star service will begin at 10:45AM and the burial will take place at Wentz's UCC Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Assoc., P. O. Kretsch, Deacon Donald J.* - Jeffersonville  
Deacon Donald Kretsch of Jeffersonville Deacon Donald J. Kretsch passed away on December 20, 2014 at his home. He was 88. Mr. Kretsch, of Jeffersonville, was ordained a Deacon in 1994 after completing the St. Charles Seminary Diaconate program. Don served as a deacon at St. Helena's Church, Blue Bell for ten years. Prior to that he spent ten years serving as a deacon at Holy Saviour Church. His ministry included distributing food and clothing to the needy. Deacon Don had the privilege to meet and pray with Mother Theresa while visiting the Sisters of Christian Charity. Don was retired from B.F. Goodrich in Oaks. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, his extended family, friends,his prayer group, and service to the church. Don was born in Minnesota on April 30, 1926 and was the son of the late Roman and Viola (Scheman) Kretsch. He is survived by his wife Mary (Romano) Kretsch, son Don (Ilene) Kretsch, Jr., daughter Barbara (Bill) Garvey, five grandchildren Billy, Tony, Darin, Amanda and Alex and two great-grandchildren Tony, Jr. and Benny. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Saturday, December 27th from 9 to 11 AM at St. Helena's church, followed immediately by a funeral mass. Entombment will follow at St. Patrick's mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family requests St. Helena Mass cards or memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
