Arnold, Frederick W.* - NORRISTOWN  
Frederick Arnold of Mont Clare Frederick W. “Wayne” Arnold of Mont Clare, PA passed away peacefully on April 13, 2015 at age 82. Born in Jeffersonville, Wayne was the son of Elsie May (Jones) and Martin L. Arnold, Sr. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Martin L. Arnold, Jr., Bennett D. Arnold and Keith L. Arnold. His best friend and sweetheart of 30 years, Merle E. Royer, passed away in January. Wayne was the loving father of Wayne M. Arnold and his wife Sherry of Downingtown and Merle’s children, Kathleen Royer, Kermit Royer Jr., Scott Royer; and four stepchildren James Clayton, Mary Lynn Tartaglia, Andrew Clayton and Paul Clayton. Wayne was the cherished grandfather of many grand and great grandchildren. He is survived by his sister, Ethel Schlasser, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Arnold worked for SEI Corp. of Oaks for 27 years as a security supervisor and retired in 2005. He was a graduate of Eisenhower Senior High School, class of 1952. He excelled in music, and was a member of an a cappella choir, barbershop quartet, and sang at weddings, quartets & solo in church. He was active in sports playing basketball for 25 years in the Norristown Church and Civic Leagues. He played golf and enjoyed many trips to Myrtle Beach. He shot darts at the Maenner Chor Club for almost 30 years where he was a lifetime gold card member. Relatives and friends are invited to Wayne’s Life Celebration at Boyd-Horrox of East Norriton, 200 W. Germantown Pike on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 9-10:45 AM, followed by his Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment will be at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wayne’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or American Heart Association, P.O. Bono, Antonio Vito* - Audubon  
Antonio Vito Bono, known as Tony to family and friends, passed peacefully in his sleep on April 16, 2015, surrounded by his loved ones. He was 85 years old and resided in Audubon, Pa. He was born to the late Michael and Mary (Chicala) Bono in Norristown, Pa., on Nov. 26, 1929. Tony joined the Navy in 1946 where he served as a radioman 3rd class, sailing both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. He was a crew member aboard the naval destroyer warship the USS Ernest G. Small. During peacetime, the ship cruised both the Caribbean and Mediterranean oceans where he had the opportunity to visit his father's homeland of Italy. Due to the Korean conflict, his tour was extended until 1952. On Jan. 17, 1953, Tony married the love of his life, Clara A. Steffanelli (deceased.) Tony spent 15 years at Phoenix Iron in Phoenixville as a welder. He then joined his brother Mike at RCA in Camden, where he worked as an electronic technologist while attending night school to earn an associate degree in electrical engineering. With that degree, he became an electronics technician at General Electric, from which he retired after 31 years. He had a passion for woodworking and enjoyed reading the newspaper in his sun-room. He loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren. Tony was a masterful storyteller and spent a lot of his free time doing research on his computer and playing the online slot machines at night. Tony is survived by his three loving children, sons Antonio V. Bono Jr. and Michael A. Bono and daughter Andrea D. Dykty; grandchildren Antonio V. Bono III, Dana M. McCann, Gregory M. Dykty and David Vaughn; and great-grandchildren Christian Bono, Maddie & Miles Vaughn and Adeline McCann. He was one of five brothers and sisters. Preceded in death by Gregory Bono, Angeline Angello and Phyllis Bellito and survived by Augustus and Michael Bono. Services to celebrate his life will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, at Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home, 101 N. Park Ave. (Rt. 363 Trooper), Norristown, Pa. Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens.

Burkey, Michelle* - Plymouth Meeting  
Michelle Burkey of Plymouth Meeting Michelle Burkey, of Plymouth Meeting, PA, suddenly on April 6, 2015. Age 27. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Nancy Burch. She lived in West Philadelphia and Conshohocken and graduated from Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. Beloved wife of Jason Burkey. Loving mother of Abigail Rose Burkey. In addition to her mother, Nancy Burch Nelson (Michael) she is survived by her grandfather, Michael Burch, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Judith and Alfred Burkey, sister-in-law, Amanda Burkey, brothers-in-law, Justin and Adam Burkey and aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 18th at 11 am at the Cold Point Baptist Church, 5063 Militia Hill Road, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 where friends and family may gather from 10 am.
