Christopher Henry Smart

Christopher Henry Smart, age 40 of Conshohocken, died Friday, October 11, 2013 at Temple University hospital of Philadelphia after an automobile accident in Lafayette Hill. Husband of Ellen Pringle-Smart. Born in Philadelphia on January 4, 1973, son of Cora (Acosta) and Earl Smart, Sr. He has been living in the Whitemarsh section of Conshohocken since 2004, formerly of Philadelphia, where he was born and raised. he was an active member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Conshohocken, where he was former Council President, and attended Tuxis Bible Study, and he enjoyed making Easter candy with the church as well as going to breakfast with the church members following Sunday services. He was a former member of Millennium Baptist Church of Philadelphia and was a graduate of Villanova University, Class of September 1994. He worked for PJM Interconnection of East Norriton, where he was IT Manager. Christopher enjoyed going to the casinos, traveling, going to the beach and fine dining. In addition to her wife and parents, he is survived by his brothers, Earl (Inez) Smart, Jr.. of Philadelphia, and Larry (Robbin) Smart of Philadelphia; sisters, Josephine (Gregory) Wilson of Philadelphia, Terri (Wilson) Robinson of Clayton, NJ, Lena (William) Tilghman of Woodbury Heights, NJ, Winnie Smart-Mapp of Philadelphia, Hope Smart of Philadelphia. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held Saturday, October 19th at 10 a.m. from St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Fifth Avenue and 508 Harry Street, Conshohocken. Clergy, Rev. Bryan Penman will officiate. Friends may call Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. Interment Fernwood Cemetery, Fernwood, PA.
