Eleanor Lena Pishock(1921 - 2014)

Eleanor Lena (Morabito) Pishock, 92, of Fredericksburg VA, passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at Woodmont Center in Fredericksburg following a lengthy illness. Born May 20, 1921, in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Julia (Pagliaro) and Michael Angelo Morabito and the widow of Thomas Pishock Sr. who passed away 1999. Throughout her life Eleanor enjoyed collecting a great variety of antiques, but particularly blue and white porcelain plates and bowls which she would display throughout her Stanbridge St. home. She also took great pride caring for the plants and flowers around her home, where it seemed something was always in bloom. Eleanor moved to Fredericksburg in 2003 to be closer to her son and his family, where she faithfully attended all of her grandson John's school and sporting events. Eleanor was a lifelong member of Holy Saviour Catholic Church in Norristown. Eleanor is survived by her son, Thomas Pishock Jr. and his wife, Deborah; grandson John Pishock; brothers Michael Morabito and George Morabito, and sister Dora Shaffer. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Anthony, Joseph, Louis, John, and Sebastian; and sisters Marie Kantanick, Vera Calandra, and Elizabeth White. A service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26 at St. Mary Catholic Church. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of Prussia, PA.
