Gertrude B. (Walsh) Quinn passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at ManorCare Health Services in King of Prussia, PA. She was 85. Mrs. Quinn was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as a secretary for G.E. Aerospace in King of Prussia, PA and also the PA Special Olympics. Gertrude was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA on December 21, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Regina (Gannon) Walsh. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 64 years, Patrick J. Quinn; two sons, Patrick J. Quinn, Jr. and his wife, Kathleen, of Elverson, PA and Terence A. Quinn and his wife, Colleen, of Sanatoga, PA; two grandchildren, Sean (Rachael) and Cory; two brothers, Martin V. Walsh and his wife, Helen, of Newtown Square, PA and Thomas Walsh of Coatesville, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Mary, Regina and Mercita. Relatives & friends are invited to Gertrude's Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday morning from 9 to 9:50 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gertrude's memory to Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 and/or the Special Olympics of PA, 2570 Boulevard of the Generals, Suite 124, Norristown, PA 19403.
