Dear Randolph Family,

I played baseball for Coach Randolph at MCCC. It was one of the greatest experiences of my young life and effected it positively. He was not just a coach, but a teacher, a Christian mentor, and a friend. I ran into Jim on the golf course years after graduating and had the opportunity to tell him exactly what he meant to me. I am so grateful and blessed to have known Jim. May the Lord continue to give your family peace.

Dear Connie and David,
I am sorry to hear about your dad. Your dad was giant and shining star as a person in every way. He spoke so highly of both of you while you were dating and once you got married. He was a very proud father and grandfather.
Please enjoy my brief summary about your dads life as an integral part of MCCC
As a friend, a colleague, a fellow coach and FT faculty Jim and I shared the hallways, gymnasiums, ball fields and classrooms in the Health and Physical Education Department at Montgomery County Community College, PA for over twenty years.
Jim was an exemplary teacher and coach who was respected and loved by all of his students and ball players. His strong leadership and outstanding character motivated students to always do their best to be successful at whatever the task as a college student and as a member of society. In my opinion Jim was a forever champion as a person and professional educator.
Jim and his wife Marilyn hosted many PE Department meetings and a few holiday gatherings which were always first class filled with joy and exchange of ideas to better serve the students of MCCC.
Also, fellow faculty members at the college enjoyed their friendship with Jim and his professional ideas and insight as an active faculty member on college committees.
All of us who are connected to Jim will remember him for always.
Peace to all,
Sheldon Chamberlain,
Professor 1967=2006

David, may God bless you and your family during this time of sorrow. I met Jim Randolph at Shaw University in 1952, where he taught me so much about the game of golf. He was a great friend; and I shall surely miss him.

What a true gentleman! Jim taught me more about baseball in his own subtle way than all the other coaches I had. Rest in peace!

I was sad to learn that we have lost Jim. Having been employed at Montgomery County Community College from 1966 to 2011, I was fortunate to know and appreciate Jim. Also, when he was living on Pulaski Drive, I bought a house nearby, and he called us neighbors. Jim was a gentleman, and I have some good memories, including his dancing with his lovely wife at a faculty social. I wish comfort and peace to Jim's family.

Dave, so sorry to hear about your Dad. Every once in a while I would run into him on the Golf Course either at Center Square or General Washington and get a chance to chat with him and ask about you to see how you were doing. I always remember the time he took us to MCCC for batting practice before one of our Championship games. Always had great respect for him!

So Sorry. I remember Mr. Randolph rarely missing David's All-Star games. He commended great respect. I remember often times seeing him with a golf club in his hand. My deepest condolences.
