Alice Feeney

Alice Delores (Keohane) Feeney, 78, of Jeffersonville, died at home on Nov. 16, 2013, with her husband of 58 years by her side.
Born in Norristown, Mrs. Feeney was a 1953 graduate of West Catholic Girls High School. She devoted most of her energy to raising her family of three children. Before her children were born, she worked for about four years as an accounting clerk at Bell of Pennsylvania. After they were grown, she worked for 10 years as a supervisor in the customer service department at Commodore Business Machines.
She was a life-long member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, where she was active with the Ladies of St. Francis. She volunteered over the years with interfaith charity groups in the Greater Norristown Area. She was a den mother, an interpretive history guide at Valley Forge National Park and a member of the Lioness Club.
She was the wife of Robert Henry Feeney and the daughter of the late James and Alice Hogarty Keohane. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Thomas C., husband of Deborah Feeney, of Hillsborough, N.J, and Robert D., husband of Christine Feeney, of Philadelphia; one daughter, Elizabeth Feeney, partner of Diana Hulboy, of Philadelphia; and four grandchildren, Ryan Elizabeth, Diane Rees, Owen Thomas and Robert Joseph. She is also survived by four siblings, James Keohane of Treasure Island, Fla., John Keohane of Norristown, William Keohane of Mifflinburg, Pa., and Helen Taylor of Dushore, Pa. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Margaret Mary Keohane.
Relatives and Friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday Nov. 20, 2013 from 9:30-10:20 a.m. and her funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church 600 Hamilton St. in Norristown. Her interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Conshohocken.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
