Anthony David Ciccanti passed away on February 4, 2013 in Bellevue, WA surrounded by family. He was born in Conshohocken, PA on May 23, 1930 to Domenico and Clementina Ciccanti. He was the youngest of twelve children. He joined the Air Force in 1949 and was Honorably Discharged in 1952. Upon his discharge from service, he enrolled at the University of Illinois receiving a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. After graduation he was employed at the Boeing Company in Seattle, WA where he worked until he retired 38 years later. While working at Boeing he enrolled at Seattle University and earned a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. Anthony is survived by his wife of 62 yars, Elizabeth, son, David Ciccanti, and daughters, Cheryl Eklund and Amy Currie. A daughter, Lisa Marie Ciccanti, predeceased him. He leaves three adoring grandsons, Alex, Aidan, and Sawyer who knew him as Pop Pop. He also leaves many relatives and friends in both the Seattle and Conshohocken areas. He enjoyed swimming and was an avid joke teller. The last years of his life were devoted to his grandsons. A celebration of Anthony's life was held at St. Anthony's parish in Renton, WA on February 12, 2013. The burial ceremony with full military honors was held at Mt. Tahoma National Cemetery.
