Arthur Haggerty Obituary

Arthur J. Haggerty, of King of Prussia, passed away peacefully on Sunday August 4, 2013, at his home with his family. He was 87 years old. Born October 18, 1925 in Bryn Mawr, he was the son of the late Patrick and Catherine (McIntyre) Haggerty and the beloved husband of the late Patricia (Guyler) Haggerty who passed away in 2004. Arthur was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He graduated from Villanova in 195. His career began at the William E. Howe Company of Philadelphia and then later he became President and part owner of John R. Hollingsworth Company of Phoenixville. Arthur was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan and he loved spending time with his family. Arthur is survived by his four daughters, Jo H. Vargo (Robert) of Mountainside, NJ, Sandy Haggerty of Collegeville, Tracy Ronkainen (Jim) of Harleysville and Kim Dunbar (Frank) of Milan, MI; six grandchildren, Bobby and Ryan Vargo, Amanda and Sarah Haggerty, Chris Ronkainen and Rachel Dunbar, his sister Catherine Walton of Audubon and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Arthur's Funeral Mass on Friday August 9, 2013, at 11 AM at Mother of Divine Providence Church 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia. A viewing will be held on Friday from 8:30 AM to 10 AM at Boyd-Horrox of East Norriton 200 West Germantown Pike, 1-800-GIVNISH.
