Charlotte Sharp

1933 - 2014

Charlotte M. (Ellis) Sharp, 81, wife of the late Rev. Henry J. Sharp, Royersford, passed away Saturday.
Charlotte was born on Feb. 1, 1933, in Philadelphia. She was the daughter of the late Raymond S. and Theodora (Thomson) Ellis. She graduated from Upper Darby High School.
Before she retired, Charlotte was a dining room supervisor for Stouffer's and the Sheraton Valley Forge Hotels and the Holiday Inn, all in King of Prussia.
Charlotte is survived by her children, Carolyn, wife of Scott Sherry, Birdsboro, Nancy, wife of David Sellers, Lafayette Hill, Sandra, wife of Paul Kriz, Pottstown, and Raymond Sharp, Royersford; her grandchildren, Christopher Sharp, David Kriz, Kate Sellers, Ray Sellers; and her brother, Robert, husband of Barbara Ellis, Newtown Square.
Charlotte was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Oaks. She was an avid Phillies and Flyers fan and loved the Jersey shore.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 126 Black Rock Rd., Oaks, with the Rev. Daniel Olsen, Rector, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, and 9 to 9:45 a.m., Friday, both times at the church. Attendees will be invited to a luncheon following the funeral.
