David H. Wilson

David H. Wilson, 85, husband of the late Jeannette (MacPherson) Wilson, Limerick Rd., Perkiomen Twp., died Saturday, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, in Bethlehem. Mr. Wilson was born on April 1, 1928, in Luma-Casai, Angola, and was a son of the late T. Ernest and Elizabeth D. (Smyth) Wilson. He was a graduate of the Univ. of Connecticut, earned a masters degree from the Univ. of Pennsylvania, and served in the US Army during the Korean War. Mr. Wilson retired in 1983 from Norristown High School, where he was a reading specialist for 30 years. Mr. Wilson was a member of Malvern Bible Chapel. Mr. Wilson is survived by his children, Beth A., wife of Paul Roberts, Lower Frederick Twp., and David C., husband of April R. (Jones) Wilson, Salisbury, MD; his grandchildren, Jobe Bicksler, Holly Wilson, Maria Wilson, and Shannon Wilson; and his brother, Thomas E., Jr., husband of Ruth (Richardson) Wilson, Holland, MI. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon L. Emmons, and his sister, Elizabeth MacFarlane. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, at the Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Main St., Trappe. Burial will be in Limerick Garden Of Memories, Limerick Twp.
