Frank J. Testa, Sr. of Black Horse Frank J. Testa, Sr., 87, formerly of Black Horse died Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at Bryn Mawr Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marion E. (Ward) Testa. Born July 11, 1927 in Norristown, PA he was the son of the late Elaine (Corpala) and Pasquale Testa. In addition to his wife include his two sons: Anthony (Denise) Testa, of St. Pete's Beach, FL; Frank J. (Lisa) Testa, Jr., of Broomall, PA; his granddaughter Calisse Medeiros (Morgan) and his siblings: Mary Damico, of Coatesville, and Dolores Cappelli, of Broomall. He was preceded in death by siblings: Anthony, Charles, John, Patrick Testa, and Connie Manifesta. Mr. Testa was a veteran of the US Navy and served in the South Pacific during WWII. He also served in the Korean War. He was a member of Holy Saviour Parish, the Holy Name Society, the Knights of Columbus, JFK Council #4153, and the Mt. Carmel Choir. He worked as a laborer for Glasgow Inc. and part time with the former Strawbridge and Clothier for over 35 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, traveling to the shore, watching football, and casino trips. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, October 13, 2014, from 8:30 - 9:45 am, at Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel Church, Black Horse, Fairfield Rd., Plymouth Meeting, PA. Funeral Mass to follow at 10 am. Burial at St. Patrick's Cemetery, 2400 DeKalb Pike, East Norriton, PA.
