Pamela Hamaday Obituary
Pamela was a floral designer, last working with Lancaster County Farmers Market in Wayne. She was also a designer with Aldelberger Florist of Wayne and Joseph Genuardi Florist of Norristown, Pa.
She was the loving wife for 25 years of Gerald Hamaday Sr. Born in Hanover, York County, Pa., on Dec. 20, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Ray B. and Christine (Yingling) Swartz. She was a graduate of Southwestern High School in Hanover, and she was a 1965 graduate of Lock Haven University, where she was a member of the Sigma Kappa sorority.
Pamela resided in Wayne for over 40 years, and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was very creative and an avid reader, and she enjoyed gardening. She also had a great love and passion for cooking.
Besides her husband, Pamela is survived by her daughter, Christine Long of Pottstown, Pa.; her stepsons, Gerald Hamaday Jr. (Anne) of Conshohocken, Pa., and Eric Hamaday (Lori) of Royersford, Pa.; and her grandchildren, John, Peter, Mollie, Shawn, Caleb and Gabriel.
A funeral service for Pamela will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. from the Kenworthy Funeral Home, 269 Fredrick St., Hanover, PA 17331. Friends may call Thursday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Kenworthy Funeral Home (717-637-6259).
A viewing for Pamela will also be held on Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette St., Conshohocken, Pa. Interment at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association, 527 Plymouth Road, Suite 403, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
Local funeral arrangements are with the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral home (610-828-0330).

Gerry. Just found out about Pam from your neighbor, Bernie about Pam. I am so sorry to hear of Pamela's passing. I worked with her at Adelberger's for three years. We had a lot of fun. She was great to work with, was kindhearted always had an aspirin when the job got stressful, always at the ready for the next dreadful holiday. I will miss her.
Susie, Jay the driver, Pan and I would meet up at the farmers market for breakfast at the crack of dawn before every major holiday. Sometimes Mr. & Mrs. Adelberger would join us. Those were special times for us to enjoy each other outside of work.
And P.S. We use to tease her about her hair cut.
