Ronald J. Bovelle Sr., "Ronny" age 57 of Havertown and formerly Conshohocken, a retired utilities laborer, died on Friday, Sept. 21, 2012. He was born in Norristown on February 6, 1955 son of Walter A. Bovelle and the late Helen C. (Donovan) Bovelle. He was the beloved husband of Joanne M. (Orazi) Bovelle for 12 years.
Ronald attended St. Matthew grade school in Conshohocken and Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. He was a United States Navy Vietnam Veteran serving his country honorably aboard the U.S.S. Midway, where he later became a member of the Midway Veterans Association. Ronald was employed by Alan Wood Steel and Danella Line Services. He was an avid sports fan.
He is survived by: a son, Ronald J. Bovelle Jr. of Roxborough; 3 step children, Gwendolyn McCullough of Havertown, Michael (Dana) McCullough of Drexel Hill and Kathleen McCullough of Havertown; 3 brothers, John (Carol) Czop of Blue Bell, Greg (Linda) Czop of West Warwick, RI and Michael (Mary Ann) Bovelle of Plymouth Meeting; 2 grandchildren, Daniella Krankus and Michael McCullough Jr.; several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may pay respects on Tuesday evening, Sept. 25, from 6-8pm or on Wednesday morning, Sept. 26, from 9 - 10:50 a.m. at the William A. Moore Funeral Home, 708 Fayette Street, Conshohocken. A service will commence in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Interment, George Washington Memorial Park, Stenton Ave. & Butler Pike, Plymouth Meeting.
