Alice M. (Wambold) Williams, a resident of Norristown, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Monday morning, November 12, 2012 at the age of 78.
Mrs. Williams was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Norristown and loved to sing and listen to country music. She was mainly a homemaker but she was also employed by Norristown Laundromat and Dill Products of Norristown. Mrs. Williams was a family oriented person who loved being with her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Born in Bridgeport on June 11, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Harold M. and Emma Cecelia (Yorgey) Wambold.
She is survived by her loving husband, Donald A. Williams, Sr.; daughters, Sandra Lee Williams Pascavage, and her husband Joseph, of Norristown, Elaine Renee Williams Miller, wife of the late Wallace ""Wally"",of Norristown, Laurie Ann Williams Murray, and her husband Dennis, of Norristown; sons, Donald A. Williams, Jr., and his wife Margaret, of West Conshohocken, Mark David Williams, and his wife Amy, of King of Prussia; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Lou Schantz, of Norristown, Helen Hester Wambold, of Plymouth Meeting, Emma Jane Marrow, of Towanda, Linda Lee Wambold, of Plymouth Meeting, Sally Ann Wambold, of Plymouth Meeting; brother, Michael James Wambold, Sr., of Reading; sisters-in-law, Mary Elaine Lozorsik, of Norristown, and Jean Lorraine Frisco, of Norristown; brother-in-law, Richard Lee Williams, of Norristown; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Michael David Williams and brothers, Howard M., Donald J., Russell J. and Robert C. Wambold and a brother-in-Law: Nelson C. Williams.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 16th at 10:00 A. M. from Calvary Baptist Church, 801 W. Marshall St. Norristown. Pastor Douglass Avilesbernal, will officiate. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, West Norriton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Williams viewing on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the church.
