Casimir Janicki Obituary
Dr. Casimir "Cas" A. Janicki, Ph.D., age 79, of East Norriton, passed away on New Year's Eve, Dec. 31, 2013 at ManorCare Health Services of King of Prussia, Pa.
Dr. Janicki, originally a native of Milwaukee, Wis., was most recently a cherished resident to East Norriton, Pa. Dr. Janicki was a well-renowned chemist for the household company, Johnson & Johnson Co., and McNeil Consumer Health Care. Dr. Janicki was a caring, generous and distinguished man who enjoyed traveling the world, and collecting numerous knickknacks throughout his journeys. Between his travels, he and his beloved wife, Snow Tuyet Janicki, enjoyed singing, dancing, and spending time with family. Dr. Janicki was a man with an intelligent mind, but an even larger heart.
Dr. Janicki will be missed dearly by his wife of five years, Snow Tuyet Janicki, of East Norriton. He is survived by his daughter, Camilla Laujanie of Houston, Texas; tragically, he was preceded in death by his late son, Casey (Tanya) Janicki. Dr. Janicki was also the proud stepfather to John (Angel) DiPetrillo, Anthony DiPetrillo and Linda (Patrick) Ahmad; the proud grandfather of Andrew Laujanie, and step-grandfather to Matthew, Lily, and Andrew Ahmad. He is also survived and missed by his two brothers, Carl and Nick Janicki.
Relatives and friends are invited to honor and celebrate the life of Dr. Casimir "Cas" A. Janicki, on Monday morning, Jan. 6, 2014 at BVM (Blessed Virgin Mary) Church, located on 196 N. Trooper Road, Eagleville, PA 19403. The visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and will end at 10:50 a.m., and the traditional funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. As per request by the family, Dr. Janicki's interment will remain private. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research hospital (www.stjude.org/).
