Frank B. Blanche, 70, of Royersford, husband of Iris L. (Young) Blanche, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at Phoenixville Hospital.|
Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Francis Joseph and Camille Marie (Bernot) Blanche.
Frank was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer. He was a fan of baseball and especially the Phillies. In his youth, he was an all-around athlete excelling in baseball. Frank was a proud member of Spring-Ford Country Club, and a benefactor to The University of Pennsylvania, School of Social Policy & Practice, where he earned his master's degree (MSW). He also obtained a license of social work (LSW). He owned and operated Frank B. Blanche Associates since 1992.
Surviving along with his wife are two daughters, Fran and Camille Blanche; two grandchildren, B. Douglas and Alexander Raybold; twin brother Bernard F. Blanche; stepbrothers George and Albert Pastino; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Frank was predeceased by his brother Dennis Blanche.
A time of remembrance will be celebrated Wednesday May 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Ltd., 329 N. Lewis Rd., Royersford. Luncheon will follow. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Golfing, Phillies, hunting, fishing, or casual dress are encouraged.
