Henry Siegle, 86, entered into the presence of the Lord on March, 13, 2017. A resident of East Norriton, currently resided at Gwynedd Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, he was the devoted and loving husband of Esther (VanLandeghem) Siegle. They celebrated 62 years of marriage in October. Born October 5, 1930 in Rockledge, he was the son of the late Frederick C. and Christine (Kurtz) Siegle. Henry served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a self-employed carpenter and builder who built his own home. A square and round dancer, Henry was a member of the Perky Promenades & the Guys & Dolls dance clubs. He enjoyed roller skating, hunting, gardening, tending to his fruit trees but most of all he loved spending time with his family & friends. During his teen years, he was a member & played the trumpet for the Phila., Eagles Pep Band during the home games at Franklin Field. Henry was also part of the Faith Church of Worcester family for the past 30 years. Henry was an extremely loving, caring & generous person who not only took care of his family but also cared for everyone he came in contact with. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Albert Siegle and his wife, Debrah, of Limerick; two daughters, Lora DeFrancesco of Perkiomenville and her fiancée, Steven Pierson, and Sandra Young and her husband, Theodore, of Slatington; a brother, Christian Siegle of Birdsboro; a sister-in-law, Marion Siegle of East Norriton; eight grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Siegle; a brother, Frederick Siegle; and a son-in-law, Nicholas DeFrancesco. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life service at 11AM on Saturday, March 18, at Faith Church of Worcester, 1341 Quarry Hall Road, Norristown, PA 19403, where family will receive friends from 9:30-10:45AM. Esther, Albert, Lorie, and Sandy, I am truly sorry in the loss of your husband/father. I have so many memories of Henny that I don't have enough room to write them down. Henny was one of the nicest, caring people I knew. His daughter Lorie and I grew up together, we were neighbors so I knew Henny all of my life. He was caring, happy, protective but most of all a person you wanted to be around. He was like the neighborhood watchman, checking in to make sure everyone was doing ok. Nothing seemed impossible for him. I remember him plowing snow and wouldn't take a dime for doing it. You would always see him outside doing something until dusk. I remember him building his house, which by the way is beautiful. Oh gosh, so many memories. I know that Henny is at peace. I also pray for his family for I know they lost a great husband and father. I'm going to miss you but I have my memories, and I will never forget those blue eyes. God Bless You and your family. With love, Janet
