John H. Noecker

Obituary Condolences

John H. Noecker, age 96 of Conshohocken, a retired steel worker, died on Sunday, February 24, 2013. He was born in Springhouse, PA on October 29, 1916 son of the late Charles H. and Margaret (McElhatton) Noecker. John was the beloved husband of the late Anna E. (O'Rourke) Noecker. He is survived by a sister Ruth Watton; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by 3 brothers: Walter Russell, Donald and William; 3 sisters, Mary Parkin, Sarah Noecker, and Helen Moser. John attended St. Patrick School in Norristown. He was a United States Army WWII Veteran serving as sergeant in the European Theatre of the war. He was a member of the VFW Post 1074 in Conshohocken. John was employed by Walker Brothers and Alan Wood Steel. He was also employed by numerous funeral homes in the area, most notably the William A. Moore Funeral Home. His passion in life was his wife Anna. Relatives and friends may pay respects on Thursday morning, February 28, from 8:30-10am at the William A. Moore Funeral Home, 708 Fayette St., Conshohocken. A funeral mass will commence at 10:30am in St. Matthew RC Church, 3rd Ave. & Fayette St., Conshohocken. Interment, St. Matthew Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in John's memory may be made to: St. Jude Children Research Hospital, www.st.jude.org.
