Obituary Condolences

Maria (Kawoczka) Kluka, 87, of Skippack, formerly of Ridley Park, passed away April 20, 2013 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery. She was the wife of the late Jaroslaw "Jerry" Kluka who passed away in 2009. Born in the Lemko Region of Poland on April 5, 1926, she was a daughter of the late William and Anastazia (Barna) Kawoczka. She came to Delaware County in 1949 and became a member of Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, and then Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bridgeport. In 1984, Mrs. Kluka moved to the Skippack area where she and her family purchased and continue to operate the Dutch Cottage Tavern. She and her husband enjoyed spending their winters in Miami Beach, FL. Surviving is a son, Jaroslaw "Jerry" Kluka and his wife, Genny; a daughter, Olha Diesel and her husband Karl; a sister, Olga Kuchta; and five grandchildren, Derek, Christopher, Andrew, Alexa, and Stefanie. Friends and family may call for the viewing on Friday April 26th from 6-8PM at the R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 Skippack Pk @ Cedars Rd., Skippack, with "Parastas" service at 7PM. A viewing will also be held on Saturday morning at Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Hurst St. @ Union Ave., Bridgeport from 9-10:15AM, followed by Divine Liturgy at 10:30AM. Burial will follow at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery. For those desiring, contributions may be made in her memory to Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 519 Union Ave., Bridgeport, PA 19405.
