Michael R. SanFelice Obituary
Michael R. SanFelice passed away suddenly Monday, October 22, 2012 from injuries he sustained from a turnpike accident he was 66. Mr. SanFelice of Jeffersonville was employed with the highway division for the Pennsylvania Turnpike. He also previously worked for Case Power Equipment Company. He served in the United States Army for two years, where he completed a one-year tour in Vietnam in 1966 and earned a variety of metals including Army Good Conduct metal, National Defense, Vietnam Service and Vietnam Campaign. Michael was a member of the Visitation BVM Church, Jeffersonville Firehouse, the West Norriton Civil Service Commission and Optimus Club, the Montgomery County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #14, Frank C. Parker Jr. & son American Legion Post 901, 282nd ASLT.HEL Company "Blackcats" and United Racing Club (URC). Michael enjoyed sprint car racing and loved going to his grandchildren sporting events. He also enjoyed vacationing in Wildwood, New Jersey, riding sprint cars and go carts on the Wildwood boardwalk, country music and was very patriotic to his country. He graduated from Bishop Kenrick High School in 1964. Michael was born in Norristown on August 5, 1946 and was the son of the late Michael and Ann (Petaccio) SanFelice. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Kathleen (Wlock) SanFelice; two daughters, Joyce Ronan and husband Jerry of East Norriton and Monica Spataccino and husband John of Collegeville; three grandchildren, Katelyn, Jonathan and Isabella. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass on Saturday, October 27 at 10 AM and Visitation Church, Trooper. Burial St. Patrick's Cemetery. Friends may call Friday evening after 6 PM and on Saturday after 8 AM at the Volpe Funeral Home, 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Road, East Norriton.
