Philip D. Sprouse, age 72 of Lower Providence, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2014 at Chestnut Hill Hospital of Chestnut Hill. Born in Norristown, PA on October 1, 1941, son of the late Mildred (Kneule) and Benjamin Sprouse. Philip lived in Lower Providence Twp. since 2002, formerly of Norristown. He graduated from Eisenhower High School and worked as a Truck Driver with Matlack, and a member of Teamsters Local # 384 , and had also worked with Alan Wood Steel and drove a school bus with Romano's. He was interested in Trains, listening to music, going to yard sales and he most enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Army veteran of the Korean War He is survived by his son, James Dameron of East Greenville, Pa; his daughters,Shawna Damato of Collegeville, Rhonda Gaasche of King Ferry, NY, and Kerri Paupst of Audubon; sister,Donna Sprouse of California. Also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and his cat Harley . Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a Grandson Micah Troy Dameron, brother Robert Sprouse & a sister Sherry Nugent His Funeral Service will be held on Friday February 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, Pa 19401. Friends may call Friday Morning 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home 19 E Germantown Pike East Norriton, Pa 19401. Interment Riverside Cemetery Co., West Norriton.
