Rita A. Bono Obituary
Rita A. Bono (Salamone), age 94 of East Norriton, a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-great grandmother, passed away Sunday evening, January 5, 2014 peacefully in the care of her family. Rita was the wife of 63 years to Louis P. Bono, who preceded her in death in 2008. She was born in Norristown on June 20, 1919, a daughter to the late Jack and Carmella (Fusco) Salamone. Rita is survived by her daughters Jo DiCiurcio (Tom) and Darlene Spangler (David), both of East Norriton and sister Dolly Constable. She was the proud grandmother of Tom (Julie), Brian (Joanna), Kevin DiCiurcio, David (Colleen), and Mark Spangler (Lindsey) and great grandmother to Chase, Maura, Luca, Rowan and Brendan. She was preceded in death by her brothers Carmen, Carl, John, Nicholas and George and sisters Victoria, Mary, Esther and Genevieve. Relatives and friends are invited to Rita's Life Celebration at Boyd-Horrox of Norristown, 200 W. Germantown Pike, on Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 8 to 9:50 AM. Rita's Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Marshall and Buttonwood Sts., Norristown, PA 19401. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery. Donations in Rita's memory may be made to Einstein Montgomery Home Health and Hospice, 25 W. Fornance St., Norristown, PA 19401.
