Vera Cavello Obituary
Mrs. Cavello of West Norriton worked at the Hoisey's Nill and the Lombardo laundromat in Norristown. She was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Church. Vera enjoyed crocheting for her grandchildren.
She was born in Norristown on May 4, 1922 and was the daughter of the late Angelo and Anna (DiCicco) Lombardo. She was the wife of the late Dominick "Doc" Cavello Sr.
Surviving are four sons Ronald and wife Diane Cavello, Dominick and wife Charlene Cavello Jr., Richard and wife Deborah Cavello. And Nicholas Cavello. One daughter Cynthia and husband Michael Gambone.
Six grandchildren Christine (George) DeDominic, Dominick (Breta) Cavello, Keith, James, Nicole, and Robert. Great grandchildren Adriana, Andrew, Dominick and Santino.
Predeceased by brothers Joseph and Nicholas, and sisters Rita Lombardo, Mary Salamone, Lena Duliah, Carrie Maniscalco, Rose Bono, Anna Gulotta, and Lillian DeFrancisco.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Thursday, Jan. 24 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Norristown. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Volpe funeral home 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Road, East Norriton.
Family requests memorial contributions can be made to the Temple Burn Ctr., Broad and Ontario St., Philadelphia Pa. 19140.
