Regina T. Brunner Obituary
Regina T. "Jean" (Mahoney) Brunner of Limerick Regina T. "Jean" (Mahoney) Brunner, 92, wife of the late Samuel T. Brunner, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Columbia Cottage, Collegeville. She was a former resident of Ridge Pike, Limerick Twp. Mrs. Brunner was born on August 5, 1921, in St. Clair, Schuylkill Co., and was the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Ellen P. (Mohan) Mahoney. She was a 1939 graduate of Pottsville Catholic High School. Mrs. Brunner retired in 1977, from Bell of PA, Philadelphia, where she was a manager for 35 years. She was a member of Liberty Bell Telephone Pioneers. Mrs. Brunner was a member of St. Eleanor Catholic Church, and its Women's Guild since 1946. She also was a founding member and past president of Collegeville Young At Heart, a member of the Ladies Ancient Order Of Hibernians, a member of Limerick Senior Fellowship, and a member of Chestmont Seniors. Mrs. Brunner is survived by her brother, Francis L., husband of Margaret (Zbyszinski) Mahoney, Trappe; two nieces, 10 nephews, and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Joseph, Jr. The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, at St. Eleanor Catholic Church, 6th Ave. & Locust St., Collegeville. Burial will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, E. Norriton Twp. Friends may call from 9:00 to 9:45 AM, Monday, at church. Memorial contributions may be made to Ladies Ancient Order Of Hibernians, 342 Jefferson St., Swedesburg, PA 19405. Arrangements are by Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., Trappe.
