Marcia (Browne) Richardson of Lower Providence Twp. Marcia (Browne) Richardson, 89, wife of the late Clarence M. Richardson, Old Baptist Rd., Lower Providence Twp., died Tuesday, at home. Mrs. Richardson was born on February 12, 1925, in Newark, NJ, and was the daughter of the late William R. Browne and the late Thelma (Hamilton) Browne Keeler. She was a graduate of Springfield (Montgomery Co.) High School and Syracuse University. Before she retired in 1981, Mrs. Richardson was Director Of Food Service for the former Schwenksville School District and then the Perkiomen Valley School District for 33 years. Mrs. Richardson was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, where she was an Outreach volunteer and member of the Over Fifties. She was a former classroom volunteer at Perkiomen Valley South Elementary School. Mrs. Richardson is survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Philip H. Browne. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, at St. James Episcopal Church, Germantown Pike at Evansburg Road, Lower Providence Twp., with the Rev. William F. Sowards, Rector, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 10:30 to 11:00 AM, Monday, at church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. James Episcopal Church, 3768 Germantown Pike, Collegeville, PA 19426. Arrangements are by Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., Trappe.
