Carmen C. Giannone Jr. Obituary
Carmen C. Giannone Jr. of Norristown Carmen C. Giannone, Jr., 73, died Thursday, May 29, 2014 at his home in Norristown. Born in Norristown on January 31, 1941, son of the late Carmen Giannone, Sr. and the late Jennie (Termine) Giannone, he was raised in Norristown and lived in Conshohocken for 20 years before moving back to Norristown, Pa. He served in the US Army. He worked as a Machinist with McCarter's Iron Works for over 40 years before retiring He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing softball, and vegetable gardening. Survivors include sons, Anthony (& Karen) Giannone of Conshohocken and Timothy (& Kim) Giannone of Hill Town Twp.; brother, John (& Phyllis) Giannone of Callahan, Fla.; sister, Joan (& Harry) Hertzog of Jeffersonville, Pa.; also survived by 11 grandchildren and a great-grandson; nieces and nephew; and also survived by his former wife and mother of his children, Eileen (Gilinger) Giannone of Conshohocken; and his long time companion Cathy Ellis of West Conshohocken, and her children Frederick Ellis of Boyertown, PA, Cathy Pezzano and Christopher Ellis of King of Prussia, PA. His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday June 3, 2014 at 10:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken. Friends may call on Monday Evening from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM & Tuesday Morning, Jun 3, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 10:00AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home 300 Fayette Street Conshohocken PA. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the , P.O. Box 879, Hershey, PA 17033.
