Janyce L. "Jay" Piccolo nee Pitzer passed away peacefully on July 5, 2014 at age 67. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa. on June 21, 1947, she was the loving daughter of Rosemary (Steimer) and the late Thomas C. Pitzer, Jr. She resided in East Norriton with her beloved husband Robert L. Piccolo who passed away in 2010.|
Jay is survived by her mother, Rosemary Pitzer, and siblings Thomas R. Pitzer (Kathleen), Roger C. Pitzer (Eileen), Barbara Dryburgh (Walter), and Patricia Pitzer (John Morris) and in-laws Naomi Piccolo and James Piccolo (Rosemary). Jay was the dear aunt of 18 nieces and nephews and 26 great nieces and nephews.
Jay earned her BS in Math from Fairleigh Dickinson and her Masters in Computer Science from Penn State. She worked as a Data Architect and enjoyed entertaining family and friends at her shore home. Relatives and friends are invited to Jay's Visitation at Boyd-Horrox of Norristown, 200 W. Germantown Pike 1-800-GIVNISH on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 beginning at 9:30 a.m. and a Life Celebration at 10:30 a.m. Jay's Funeral Mass will be at noon at Visitation BVM, 196 N. Trooper Road, Norristown. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jay's memory may be made to one of her favorite charities, St. Jude's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
