Giovanni D'Aloia of Trooper Giovanni D'Aloia passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at his home. He was 88. Mr. D'Aloia, of Trooper, was a member of the Visitation BVM Church. Giovanni enjoyed hunting, gardening, making wine and homemade foods. He was retired from the former Kaiser Aluminum company, Plymouth Meeting. He was born in Casalduni, Italy on February 8, 1926, the son of the late Antonio and Antonia (Mancini) D'Aloia. He was the husband of the late Filomena (Molinaro) D'Aloia. Surviving are his son, Cosimo (MaryAnn) D'Aloia; his daughter, Antonietta (Lorenzo) Tosco; one brother, Mario D'Aloia; one sister, Angela D'Aloia; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Monday, July 21st, at 10 AM in Visitation Church, Trooper. Entombment, Patrick's Mausoleum. Friends may call Sunday evening from 7 to 9 PM and Monday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Volpe Funeral Home, 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Rd., East Norriton.
