Dorothy L. "Dot" Welsh Obituary
Dorothy L. (Smith) Welsh "Dot" of Conshohocken Dorothy L. (Smith) Welsh "Dot", a homemaker of Conshohocken, died peacefully on July 30th surrounded by her loving Family. She was born in Norristown on December 31, 1921, daughter of the late Robert and Catherine (Leahy) Smith. She was the wife of the late John Thomas Welsh. Dorothy was 92 years old. Moving to Conshohocken when she got married, she was a member of St. Matthew RC Church where she was in the Catholic Daughters' Court in St. Matthew's Church. She was also a member of the St. Matthew's Altar Society. Dorothy was the last living member of 9 brothers and sisters. Dorothy is survived by 2 sons, John Welsh, Conshohocken, and Phillip (Sharon) Welsh of East Norriton and 2 daughters, Janet Leflar of Conshohocken and Catherine (Michael) Taggart of Dade City, Florida. Also survived by Grandson, James Taggart of Philadelphia and Great grandsons, Luke and Jack and their mother, Kathleen Leflar of Perkiomenville. Preceded in death by Grandson, Scott Leflar and Sisters, Jean Baddorf; Helen Scharff; and Elizabeth Smith, and Brothers, Robert; Paul; Morris; Alfred; and Francis Smith. Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Saturday morning, August 2nd in St. Matthew RC Church, 3rd Ave. and Fayette St., Conshohocken, from 9:20am to 10:20am. A Funeral Mass will commence at 10:30am. Interment will be in St. Matthew Cemetery, North Lane and Butler Pike, Conshohocken. Funeral arrangements are by the William A.
