Charles Chudoba

Obituary Condolences

Charles Chudoba, 86, formerly of Skippack Township died Tuesday at Little Flower Manor in Wilkes-Barre. Born January 14, 1926 in Wilkes-Barre he was a son of the late Lucas and Clara Regula Chudoba. A Marine Corps veteran of World War II, he served in the Pacific Theater. Charles retired after thirty-seven years with the B.F. Goodrich Company where he proudly served as representative for the United Rubber Workers Union. He was a member of the Pike Township Sportsmen's Association in Oley. Charles enjoyed fishing, cooking and, of course, eating. He always placed the needs of others ahead of his own, and his passion for life was evident in his smile and the laughter he created. His wife, Mae Berstler Chudoba died in 2008. A grandson, Tyler Charles Chudoba, brother, John Chudoba and sister, Marian Dermako also preceded him in death. Charles will be missed by his children, Deborah Yedlock of Wilkes-Barre, Joanne Balconis of Exeter, Teresa DiVergigelis of Barnesville and Brian Chudoba of Harleysville; grandchildren, Heather Wilson, Anthony J. Balconis, Rainah and Mariel Yedlock and Kyle Chudoba; great-grandchildren; brothers, Joseph and Michael Chudoba and a sister, Helen Lawrence of Wilkes-Barre; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Celebration of Charles' Life will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in Saint James Episcopal Church in Collegeville. Interment with military honors will be held in Limerick Garden of Memories. Visitation will be held at Platts Hall on the campus of Saint James Episcopal Church on Saturday from 10 to 11 AM. Arrangements by McLaughlin's - The Family Funeral Service.
