Doris M. Friend

Doris M. (Clarke) Friend of Limerick, died June 26, 2012 at the Sanatoga Center. Mrs. Friend was born on August 26, 1928, in Norristown, a daughter of the late J. David, Sr., and Laura (Street) Clarke. She was 83. Mrs. Friend graduated from Norristown High School and later worked as an assembler at the Ford plant in Lansdale which became Viseon. Mrs. Friend is survived by her children, Gayle Johnson (Dennis) of Shorewood, Illinois and Debra Profera (Michael) of Limerick. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service, Monday, July 2, 2012, 11 AM at the Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 W. Main St., Trappe, PA 19426. Officiating will be Rev. Barry Moyer, chaplain with Caring Hospice. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 AM Monday. Interment will be in the Green Lawn Cemetery in North Wales.
