Harry Larson Jr. Obituary
Harry G. Larson Jr. passed away suddenly on Friday, July 6, 2012, surrounded by his loving family at the Cape May Regional Medical Center in Cape May, N.J. He was 66.
Mr. Larson was a resident of King of Prussia.
He worked as a GPS Thermal Engineer for Lockheed Martin in King of Prussia for over 45 years until his retirement in August of 2011.
Harry was a member of Valley Forge Presbyterian Church in King of Prussia.
He enjoyed golfing, woodworking, spending time with his friends and he was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Most of all, Harry loved his family and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Born in Bristol on Jan. 9, 1946, he was a son of the late Harry G. Larson Sr. and Palma (Paglione) Larson.
He was the husband of the late Sharon Lee (White) Larson, who died in 2003.
Surviving is his loving family including two daughters, Kimberly Ann King and her husband Kevin of Doylestown and Stacy L. Swan of King of Prussia; a son, Scott E. Larson and his wife Maria of Wayne,; five grandchildren: Adelaide, Jack, Scott, Taylor and Harry; a sister, Judith A. Moyse and her husband William of Chesapeake, Va.; two brothers, Peter J. Larson and his wife Josephine of Newtown and Thomas R. Larson of Bristol; a sister-in-law, Joyce Frake and her husband William of Bristol; a special aunt, Dorothy Paglione of Bristol; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to Harry's Funeral Service at Valley Forge Presbyterian Church, 191 Town Center Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 10 a.m. His viewings will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, also Wednesday morning from 9 to 9:50 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Washington Memorial Chapel Cemetery, Valley Forge.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Harry's memory to the Sharon Larson Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o the Upper Merion Area School District, 430 Crossfield Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406. (Click on scholarship fund).
