Mildred Rose (Flore) Piziak, of Norristown, PA died on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at her home in Norristown. Mrs. Piziak who was 96 yeas of age was the widow of the late Stanley F. Piziak who died in 2002. Mildred was born in Norristown on November 11, 1916 a daughter to the late Michael and Mary (Testa) Flore. A homemaker and a retired former inventory specialist with the former H. Markel & Sons in Plymouth, Mildred was a member of Holy Saviour Church, Norristown and a member of the Norristown Senior Citizens Art Club. Mildred enjoyed oil painting and was a gifted artist when at the age of 18 attended the Fleisher Art School of Philadelphia. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking and baking for her family and friends. Her son Stanley J. Piziak of Norristown and daughters Mary (James) Dulin of Morrisville, PA and Gloria Piziak of Trappe, PA survive her along with her three grandchildren Judy Roth, Michael Dulin, Robert Dulin, a great grandson Samuel Dulin and many nieces and nephews. Her sister Josephine Greco and brothers Daniel Flore and Pasquale Flore also preceded her in death. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mildred's Funeral Mass being celebrated at 10:AM on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 in Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main Street, Norristown. The family will receive friends and relatives at the church from 9:15:AM and until mass time. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, 2400 DeKalb Pike, East Norriton, PA. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials can be sent in Mrs. Piziak's memory to St. Jude Shrine, 512 W. Saratoga Street, Baltimore, MD 21201 (1-877-278-5833).
