William J. Brown, "Bill", age 92 of Schwenksville, a retired Real Estate Broker, died on Tuesday, February 26, 2013. He was born in Philadelphia on April 26, 1920, son of the late Stephen and Agnes (Lansche) Brown. Married in 1940, Bill was the beloved husband of Dorothy Anna (Oertel) Brown for 72 adventure filled years. He honorably served his country during WWII in the United States Navy SeaBees. He was a faithful provider from early years delivering milk by horse-drawn wagon to successful Real Estate Broker/Owner in later years. He was competitive in handball and known to love the outdoors. Compassionate in character, known to give the coat off his back to the homeless. Opened his heart and home freely to so many in need. Witty in his story telling; humorous with his ready "punch lines". Laughter and love, the soil he gave us to grow in. Spiritually grounded, Bill trusted in Jesus Christ as his Savior, now granted the joy of eternal life in Him. Loving father of four: Patricia, Ruth, Dottie, Bill: Taught us well: "A family that works, plays and prays together, stays together." Amazing grandfather to twelve; "Best Ever Great-Grandpop" to twelve, with three more on the way. Relatives and friends may pay respects on Saturday morning, March 2nd, from 10-11am at the Church of St. Mary, 40 Spring Mount Road, Schwenksville, PA 19473. A funeral Mass will commence in the church at 11am. Interment, Calvary Cemetery in West Conshohocken. Professional arrangements are by the William A.
