I still think of Mikey and your beautiful family more often than you might imagine. I still have the mass booklet that was given out at the funeral mass. It touches my heart to the core every time I look at Mikey's smiling face. He remains in my heart and will always be remembered as one of my favorite and most respected students. He was truly a friend to everyone. While I know that Mikey's loss will always be with you, I pray that you continue to heal and enjoy the wonderful memories you must have. I share your loss more than ever at this time since I lost my beloved husband this past July. I'm sure you can relate to this terrible loss. I wonder if I will ever be the same. My sadness is immeasurable. You remain in my prayers as I hope that I am in yours.

Doug & I send our deepest sympathy for your tragic loss. I remember little Mikey hanging out on the sidelines as big brother Johnny and our son Chris played for the travel soccer team. I always felt he was a nice kid with a kind soul.

Mikey was the kind of kid that parents pray for. It was always such a joy to be around him. I am shocked and saddened beyond belief by this tragic news. My heartfelt sympathy to his wonderful family. What a loss!
