Ursula Germaine (Knott) Crockett

Ursula Germaine (Knott) Crockett, 92, passed away peacefully at her home in Vallejo, with her daughters by her side. Ursula was born and raised in Dover, NH and attended St. Mary's Academy and graduated from Dover High School in 1939. Ursula was a talented tap dancer in her youth, performing in numerous local productions.
Ursula worked many years as a telephone operator while raising her five children with husband Everett. In her later years Ursula held several volunteer positions in civic and social organizations including terms as President of the Florence Douglas Senior Center, President of NARFE Chapter 16, and President of Nite Caps. Ursula was also a past member of the Dover Elks Lodge #184 Emblem Club, the Moose Lodge, and the Vallejo Women's Club.
Ursula was one of four children born to the late Everett and Anne (Cole) Knott of Dover, NH and was the last surviving sibling. She was the beloved wife of Everett Crockett for nearly 66 years until his death in 2012. Ursula is survived by son, David (Cindy) Crockett of Eagle, ID; daughters, Suanne (Robert) Then of Campobello, SC, Judith (Ed) Van Fleet of Los Osos, CA, Cynthia (Rick) Muszynski of Snohomish, WA and Sandra Crockett of Vallejo; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Ursula was a sweet, kind woman of deep faith and charity. In spite of physical pain and suffering in later years, she endured to the end standing firm in her faith in Christ. To our loving and giving mother, you shall be dearly missed.
Per Ursula's request, services will be private. Ursula will be buried with her husband at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon. Donations may be made in Ursula's memory to the Wounded Warriors Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org).

I'm sorry I didn't know her. My grandmother was Kate Knott from Dover, NH and I never met any if her family. I'm sure I was probably related Ursula. My prayers are with the family at this time. I am 97

I'm very sorry for your loss. It's always difficult to deal with losing a loved one but God has a Promise for our loved ones in Recelation 21:3,4.
