Carlos was born on Nov. 15 in Denver, Colorado. He moved with his family to Vallejo, in 1965. Carlos went to Vallejo High School. Later he enrolled in the Army and served this country. He had fond memories of being overseas in Europe.
Carlos was a loving son, brother, uncle, father and great-grandfather. He was a great friend to everyone who had the pleasure of being involved in his life.
He has left behind his mother, Ida Baca; two brothers, Guadalupe and Frank; with four sisters, Adela, Rebbeca, Debra and Christina.
He will be joining his brother, Angel Chavarria and father, Arthur Baca.
Please pray for them all. Carlos will truly be missed by everyone. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 12 from 5 to 9 p.m., with a vigil at 7 p.m., at Skyview Memorial Lawn, 200 Rollingwood Drive, in Vallejo. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, Sept. 13 at 10 a.m., at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 1200 Tuolumne St. in Vallejo.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Skyview Memorial Lawn. 707-644-7474.
