Nunn, Anna - Sonoma  
March 22, 1920 April 23, 2015 Anna Ruth Nunn was born in Susanville, CA, the first of eight children born to Edward Leroy King and Erma Victoria King. She died peacefully Thursday afternoon in the presence of her loving family after an extraordinary life of 95 years. Anna is survived by her youngest sister, Jeanne of Arizona; daughter, Mary Ann Pugh of Fairfield; son, Gerald Leroy Nunn of Napa; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren, all of the San Francisco Bay Area. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, and infant son, Howard Jr. Anna attended Vallejo High School when she met and married Howard. She was a homemaker while the children were small. She later worked at the Benicia Arsenal, San Francisco Mint and, shortly thereafter, got her Real Estate and Broker's Licenses. Anna was a very successful real estate woman. She opened Greenwood Land Agency with her husband, Howard, in Napa, CA, in 1970. Anna took great pride in her Native American heritage and her family's contributions in westward expansion with Lewis and Clark and the saving of the Donner Party. The funeral arrangements are entrusted to Duggan's Mission Chapel, 525 West Napa St., Sonoma, CA 95476 where a Vigil Rosary will be Tuesday, April 28, at 5 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, April 29, at 11 a.m., at St. Vincent's Catholic Church in Vallejo, followed by the Interment at All Soul's Cemetery in Vallejo. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to a charity organization of your choice.
