Prophetess Beverely Jean Morris, 69, passed away Tuesday at Sutter Hospital with her daughter by her side. Born March 8, 1945 to parents, Ruby A. Taylor and Joseph L. Morris II in Los Angeles, California.
Prophetess Beverely J. Morris established the Bold Peculiar People Ministry in 1980. Bold Peculiar People was geared towards training, inspiring, motivating, and empowering the Body of Christ.
In 1988 she moved to the Bay Area and founded "ROLLING WITH JESUS GOSPEL SKATE NIGHT" where different church groups enjoyed skating to exclusively Christian music, and played scripture and skating games to win prizes.
Beverely was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby Taylor and Joseph Morris II and sister, Loretha Francis. Survivors include her brother, Joe Morris III; children, Trarina Jackson and Demetra Person; grandchildren, Darryl Smith, Da'Rell Smith, Timothy Stewart, Gabrielle Jackson, DeJanee Morris and Zechariah Stewart; along with great-grandchildren, and nephews.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m., with the funeral at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 29 at The Church of the Redeemed, 929 Amador St. Vallejo.
