Donnie Ray (Robinson) Littleton, 54, passed away Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born in Oklahoma, lived in Southern California for years before settling in the Benicia/Vallejo area. He worked in the grocery business for more than 25 years, 15 of those years at Safeway in Vallejo.
Donnie was a U.S. Army veteran and was recruited by his uncle. His uncle completed his paperwork under the last name of his father (Robinson), but to most everyone else he was known as Littleton.
Donnie is survived by his wife Catherine; daughter Nichole (Richard) Sims; son Donnie Littleton Jr; his mother Janet Ellis; stepchildren Aushlee (Paris) Daniell; Eric, Adam, Kyle (Beccy), and Matt Warren, and Edward (Diana) and Ramon (Erica) Chavez; sisters Albernita and Janette Ellis; brother Bobby Ellis; grandchildren Diovion, Richard, Lyric, Amanda, Aidan, Alexis, Ariana and the Santos-Chavez children; and an extended Robinson family. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Robinson.
Donnie loved God and people - his wife, children, grandchildren, family, friends, church family and his Men's Group were his heart. He brought the joy of the Lord wherever he went. Special thanks to The Gateway-Benicia, Every Man Restored Men's Group, Kaiser Hospice and VA Hospice.
A Memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday at The Gateway, 1315 Military West with Pastor Jerry Pollard officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Passalacqua Funeral Chapel, Benicia. Please visit the online tribute at www.passalacquafuneralchapel.com

I was just thinking about him yesterday. We go back to the days when he worked at Moran's Liq store and I carried mail at navy housing. That boy always made me laugh and he loved his Sooners, I am so sorry to hear about his passing and send my best to his Family. RIP Brother
