Jacqueline "Jackie" Ann Holland, 70, of Murrieta, CA, entered heaven on Feb. 18, after a long illness. She had a caring and loving nature and would always put others first. Her generous spirit drew people from all walks of life into hers.
She was born to Harry and Inez Nixon in McCloud, CA., on Nov. 30, 1943. Jackie graduated from Benicia High School in 1961. She was married to Richard Holland in 1965, and they lived together in Vallejo and Napa before moving to Murrieta in 1994.
Jackie worked for Bank of America for more than 30 years. She loved animals of all kinds and even had a pot-bellied pig. She loved traveling, being with her family and friends, cooking, sports and gardening. She was the first certified female soccer referee in Napa.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Nixon, and her brother, James Nixon. She is survived by her mother, Inez Nixon; her husband, Richard Holland; her children, Carleen (Kalim) Sawires, Rick (Maria) Holland and Jeffrey (Clara) Holland; six grandchildren, Trevor, Nicole, Ashton, Ashley, Aiden and Dylan; and her dog, Bella.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on March 1 at England Family Mortuary in Temecula, CA. Scattering of her ashes in the ocean off San Diego will occur on March 2.
