Julio C. Abad, Sr.

Julio C. Abad, Sr., age 85. Resided in the City of American Canyon, Napa County. Passed away from a long battle of illness. Born in Rosario, Cavite in the Philippines. He is a retired United States Navy, Chief SK for 22 years. He went back to work for another 15 years in Mare Island Naval Shipyard in Vallejo, CA. He is both a Korean and Vietnam Veteran. A Mason Brother and a member of Filipino American Retired United States Armed Forces Association (FARUSAFA). He has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Commerce, (BSC) at Lacson College in the Philippines. 
He is predeceased by his wife, Celina P. Abad, and his son, Julio P. Abad, Jr., US Navy, EM2. He is survived by his four children, son, Daniel Abad, Sr. (Letty); son, Rodel Abad; daughter, Melina Abad (Froi); daughter, Maricel Abad Glaser (William); three grandchildren, Daniel Abad, Jr. (Tesa), Jovelyn Ann Abad (Ysmael), and Desiree Rose Abad, and his remaining sibling, Abner Abad (Phil). 
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Special thanks to ALL who have loved and supported him throughout his life and most especially during this time of need. 
A viewing for J.C. Abad, Sr. will be at Skyview Memorial Lawn, 200 Rollingwood Drive, Vallejo, CA., Saturday. Feb. 23 and Sunday, Feb. 24, from 12 noon to 9 p.m. Remembrances and Vigil starting at 7 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 24. A funeral Mass will be held at, St. Basils the Great Catholic Church, 1200 Tuolumne St., Vallejo, Monday, Feb. 25, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow mass at the All Souls Catholic Cemetery, Vallejo.
