Marshall Arthur Weaver, 93, passed away Tuesday at his home in Vallejo surrounded by his family.
Marshall was born to Francis and Goldie Weaver on June 30, 1920. He has lived in Vallejo the past 68 years. He was proud to have served in the US Army Air Force during WWII
with the 449th Bomber Group where he flew 50 missions out of Italy. He owned and operated Marshall's TV in Benicia for many years and also worked on Mare Island Naval Shipyard. He was an accomplished pilot, owned his own airplane and was a past member of the Sheriff's Air Squadron. He loved caring for his animals, spending time with his family and collecting and repairing antique clocks.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Eleanor; daughter, Marsha (Len) Osman; grandchildren, Andrea, David (Melissa), Michael (Lindsay) and John (Jessica); and great grandchildren, Zachary, McKenzie, Emma and Layla.
The family appreciated the services of Abba In-Home Care and the special care provided by John, Allan and Edgar.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, at Twin Chapels Mortuary, 1100 Tennessee St., Vallejo. Internment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Benicia-Vallejo Humane Society.
