Ralph Forrest Beebe

Ralph F. Beebe, a long time resident of Vallejo, passed away on Nov. 21, at the age of 88 due to Alzheimers Disease. Ralph was born on Jan. 19, 1925 in Long Beach, CA to Ralph F. Beebe Sr. and Catherine Bertino Beebe. At the age of two, Ralph and his family moved from Long Beach to Vallejo where Ralph, Sr. started work as a welder on Mare Island.
Ralph attended all Vallejo schools including Vallejo Senior High School where he graduated in 1942.
Ralph completed boot camp in San Diego, served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, as well as in the Korean War on an oil tanker.
Ralph met the love of his life, Marge Roberts, a girl from Minnesota in 1943. They were married in 1945 and had two sons, Thomas and Daniel.
Ralph worked as a machinist on Mare Island in Shop 38. He eventually became a Leading Man and then Quarterman. Ralph retired from Mare Island after 29 years of service.
Ralph was an expert mechanic and especially loved working on cars. He also enjoyed talented musician and accomplished in piano and guitar. He was a member of the Naval Lodge #87. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Sr. and Catherine Beebe and his sister, Genevieve Domenici.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Marge and sons, Thomas (Vallejo) and Daniel (McEwen, TN) and grandsons, Travis (Jana), Yakima, WA, and Michael (McEwen, TN); nephew, Anthony Domenici (Judy), and niece, Ann Lammon (Jjohn). The family would like to thank Ralph's caregivers and Sutter Hospice for thier care and support.
At Ralph's request, there will be no services. Contributions may be made to the or to the donor's favority charity.
